Have any of my locals been to “The Barn” in Castle Rock https://thebarncastlerock.com/? I just love that place, it’s full of treasures! I found this Vintage sconce and fell in love! It was set up to be “hardwired” but I decide not to go that route. I didn’t want it to be permanent in case I wanted to move it around.

I didn’t realize when I bought it, that the threaded thing you would pull the wiring through to mount it as fixture, was so long that it wouldn’t hang flush on my wall. So I had to get my handy dandy grinder out to chop off about an inch. Voila!

Next to “The Barn” in Castle Rock is a place called “The Emporium” https://theemporiumcastlerock.com/ which also has some fabulous treasures. There’s a place inside to the left, that sell all kinds of battery operated candles and they’re just perfect AND they have remotes! So this was the route I wanted to take with my little Vintage sconce.

Sooo, what do you think? The photo above the candle won’t stay but the frame will. I love how that sweet little sconce candle reflects light on the picture above it!
