Basil After 6 Weeks

Hmmmm, welllll it’s been 6 weeks and I’m not thinking that homemade fresh pesto is in my near future.  I’ve never claimed to have a “green thumb” but next summer I’ll just buy a pre-grown plant?? Maybe I should have given it some Miracle Grow??

  1. Good idea for next year. 🙂 You need LOTS of basil to make pesto. Also always pinch from the top to keep the plant growing. You can usually get 2-3 harvests each summer.
