Ok – I saw a version of the this Grinch Advent “House” on Instragram and sent the original pic to my daughter because they all love the Grinch! Her response was “Mom, that’s so cool – are you going to make it for the girls”? Sooooo, of course I said yes! Oh my word it took me an ENTIRE weekend to get this completed and I absolutely love it!!

The house itself was already made and I purchased it and everything else from Hobby Lobby. The link below has the download for these numbered doors. She did such a great job of explaining the whole process!

The little grinch people are actually ornaments and I just unscrewed the hook. Painted the base of the house a great bright green. Then painted all the doors and “mod podge’d” the paper doors onto the house doors.

Added some “do-daas” and some stickers inside the little compartments.

Added some glitter and some fake snow . . .

Then stuffed all the little compartments with treats, hair clips, animal erasers, notes with things to do and notes to get a “Grinch” gift out of the Grinch gift bag for things that didn’t fit, lol. The girls are loving it!! Everyday they call me to say “It’s time for the Grinch House”!!
