I took the day off yesterday to hang out with Owen. He loves to cook so I had him over to help me get some treats ready for our “Benson Christmas” on Saturday. He is an excellent helper!! We made peanut clusters, oreo truffles and saltine toffee – YUM! 😉
Every Grammy should have “Santa Mugs” for hot chocolate & grandkids. My grandmother had them for my brother and I. I’ve been wanting them for awhile now but they were either too big or too expensive. I found these at the “Dollar Store” – yep just a buck! They’re adorable, just the right size for kids and no one will be heart broken if one gets dropped! Technically I only have 2 grandkids buttttt surely more will come and I’ll be ready! 🙂
My cousin, Laura who lives in California is a quilter and has made some beautiful quilts. I just received a gift from her and it was this adorable little “Farm Quilt”! Her card read that I should have my own little farm quilt to wrap my grandbabies in, to have tea parties on or for starry nights – how stickin’ cute is that!! I just love it – it brought tears to my eyes to have something so special! Thank you Laura!!!! xoxo
Sooooo Jason and Tara are at it again!!! Designing and building! Their new “Ranch” has kind of an “L” shape eat-in kitchen so Jason built banquette for seating & back wall board but then their 4 legged kitchen table didn’t work so he built a new table! Thennnnn they built the mason jar light fixture hanging over it! The navy color paint looks great against that new white window trim. Tara did the burlap cushions and the plate wall is soooo cute! Way to go Bensons! 🙂
Wow, I totally scored on my birthday last week!!! Thank you soooo much to my kids for my wonderful Pioneer Woman “Flea Market” gifts!! I love every piece and can’t wait to use them. Thank you Amie & Matthew and Jason & Tara (Owen & Belle) for making me feel so special!! xoxo
