We are all excited that Matthew is home (probably not as excited as Amie, lol)! He’s in the Air Force and has been deployed overseas for the last 4 months!

Finally, Sunshine!
Woohoo!! It’s going to be a sunny filled weekend – finally!! This was one of my Christmas gifts from Amie & Matthew and I’ll be putting it to good use this weekend. Just found some great plants at Lowe’s!! (yes, those are tomato plants in the background and yes my back door is orange – it’s called “Acapulco Sunrise” !) 😉

Before . . .
My son and grandkids came over yesterday (Tara was at an Antique Fair). He put up my Pumpkin Patch Fence and started my cattle panels on the garden wall. And just in time – it’s pouring down rain today. I’ll paint the pumpkin patch fence white once the wood drys out, hang a cute little sign and maybe some hanging flowers on the posts. Thank you, thank you, thank you son, I LOVE IT!! xoxoxo

People tell you how great it is being a grandparent – but there is seriously nothing else like it!!! I love my kids and am proud to be their mom BUT grandkids . . . . I am so astonished at how fast these guys have grown! It’s only been 5 weeks (tomorrow) since they arrived. They are crazy big and almost ready to leave the house for their new duck pen. They have to have all their feathers before they can be released soooooo maybe another week or so.
Side note: My granddaughter is the cutest thing ever! 😉

What a great weekend! The weather was a bit overcast and a bit rainy at times but nice and warm. The Magnolia property is soooo family friendly. They have a lot of picnic tables all around the property. You could bring your lunch or eat from the several food trucks. We decided to eat somewhere else just because it was raining when we were ready to eat. Great time with my bestie and our daughters! More pics tomorrow.
Side note: I haven’t been on Frontier Airlines in years but they were running a sale that we couldn’t pass up on. When we boarded and sat in our seats I looked in front of me and asked Amie – what the heck is this? – it was the “tray table” – seriously???!!!! It fits NOTHING except a cup and napkin – LOL

Stud Muffin turns 8!!
Wow, time has flown. “Muffin Man” has turned into “Stud Muffin” and is now 8 years old!!! Little Missy in her cute boots, she loves her big brother. Happy Birthday Owen!
