I borrowed this oscillating tool from a friend at work and it was a LIFE-SAVER!

I just put a piece of scrap flooring up against the door jam, set the blade on top and started it up. I just kept pressure on it and moved it left to right until I cut through the door trim.

Knocked out the cut piece with a hammer and screwdriver . . .

and slipped the flooring underneath! It really was much easier than I was anticipating and it looks marvelous!!! I need to ask for one of these tools for Christmas!!! Jason . . . . Amie . . . 😉

Before

During . . . found linoleum under the carpet

Voila!! Done & I love my new rug from Overstock.com – the exact colors I wanted – too bad you’ll never see the middle again, LOL

Old closet – floor is done! Now I need to get on the baseboards!! If I put my furniture back – I’ll never get them done, so until then I’m sleeping in the guest room!

Woke up to this . . . I love it when there’s a layer of snow everywhere, no wind and the sun is shinning!

Men & fire . . . . reallyyyyy????? Dude can you put the lid on that so you don’t melt my lights hanging overhead????!!!!!!

Friends, Wine & Appetizers = “Friday Night Flames”

What’s a bonfire without marshmallows??? Whoops – somebody grab the graham crackers!

First – I love this product!!!!! “Color Street” and second, I love this color – Upper East Side!!! I’ve posted about these before and if you’re tired of doing your own nails and waiting for the polish to dry or you’re tired of spending $$$$ on getting you nails done . . . check these out!!! https://www.mycolorstreet.com/julienolte

How cute is that little guy! These things take forrrrevvverrrrrr to grow! I’m short on patience waiting for them, lol.

So the shower in the guest bathroom wasn’t working – water was just dribbling out of the shower head. I was hoping it just needed a new tub spout and new diverter . . . WRONG!

Besides the sheet rock under the panel being bad around the faucets – the whole shower fixture needed to be replaced!

New copper piping, new fittings, new fixure – woohoooo – not how I thought I was going to spend my weekend, lol.

But all done! So no worries if you coming to visit!! It’s not pretty (yet) but it works! 😉
