Here are a few more pics of Little Miss Belle. She was so excited that she got her raisin box opened all by herself!

Belley Time
I got to watch my granddaughter Saturday, little Miss Belle. We had a great time checking on the garden and the pumpkins, she had to touch every one of them. She also mastered driving the tractor (kinda), lol. I just can’t believe she can reach the peddle – this time last year she was riding in the back at Amie’s wedding. Tractor video tomorrow, if I can figure out how to load it.
Mudroom Coat Hooks & Shelf
I finally got my coat hooks up in the mudroom and the picture shelf – yahoo! I love it! I bought most of the knobs from Hobby Lobby and only had to cut the cow and the rooster backs off with the bolt cutters, the others screwed in from the front. The red flying pig & the turquoise bird w/crown I bought at Michaels. I still have some touch up paint, baseboards and a shelf over the washer & dryer to do but that will come when it’s too cold to work outside.
Pumpkin Update
Strawberry Jam
I was able to get a batch of Strawberry Jam made last weekend. Hoping for time to do a batch of Peach Jam too! I love making jam – it’s sooooo simple, you should really give it a try. I just use the recipe for “cooked jam” on the directions in the Certo box. One of my most favorite things is when I hear the lids pop (they suck in and seal), seriously I want to do a happy dance!
I Got Chickens!
Ok, so technically they’re not chickens, they’re roosters, and technically they’re not real but I couldn’t help myself – they were clearance at Walmart for $5. I’m still cracking myself up! 😉
IKEA – Broomfield?
Ok, some exciting news came out today and though it could be several more years . . . IKEA is looking at some property at I-25 & Highway 7 in Broomfield (Northern Colorado)!!!! Yahoooooo
WOW Me Wednesday!
WOW – I haven’t done one of these posts forever! I’d seen the commercial by Bush’s Beans that they have a new “Hummus” mix available and I wanted to try it. Crazy simple (you know I love crazy simple), you just add the pouch to a can of garbanzo beans – that’s it! I did add some extra virgin olive oil and some pine nuts. Plopped it all in the food processor and went to town (mixed it). It was veryyyyy yummy! I bought the “Roasted Red Pepper” pouch but there are other flavors as well. I think next time I’m going to try the same pouch but use Cannellini Beans in place of the garbanzo beans, they’re a creamier bean than the garbanzo. You should totally give this Hummus a try! 😉
Pantry – Accent Wall
It was toooo hot to work much outside this weekend so I painted the accent wall in my pantry. I love this color – Behr “Green Meets Blue S430-4”. It looks great with that counter top I found for $24 at Bud’s Warehouse. Still have a ways to go in the pantry (floor, bead board, paint cabinets & ceiling), but that’s my life story these days. 😉
Happy 1st Anniversary!!

Happy 1st Anniversary to my daughter Amie and my son-in-law Matthew!! I can’t believe it’s already been a year! I was looking over all the pictures from the wedding this weekend and I’m so thankful and blessed by all of our family and friends that came to celebrate! xox
