When you can’t decide . . . . you do both . . . . it’s a Bunny Fairy!!!!

This is the only picture I could find that showed the mums I planted last year before the Harvest Party. See them in the background on the left. I purchased 3 of them on clearance for $1 each.

THIS is one year later!!! I took this pic over the weekend. I couldn’t believe – #1 that they actually came back after winter – #2 That they were actually a beautiful full rounded green bush all summer – #3 Alllll the blooms!! Mums are my new favorite perennial, low maintenance and full of color. 😉

I was down in the Springs over the weekend and Amie cooked this for dinner – it was delicious so I thought I’d share! Very simple and very yummy!

Enjoy!

I enjoyed a belated Birthday dinner with Jason, Tara and this angel face last night! We ate at the new “Red Robin” in Brighton and it was delicious! Thanks guys! xoxo

I went out to see the kids yesterday, Jason was at work. THIS is the latest addition . . . a new duck Taj Mahal that Tara calls “The Waddle-On Inn”!!! Love it!!! To try and make life a little easier with the animals that have to come in at night, Jason built this for the ducks.

The light is on a dusk to dawn sensor as well as the door!! So when they go in at night the door will close automatically when it gets dark!

I should have took a video – those ducks waddling in is just hilarious!

Too cute!

The fires are raviging the beautiful hills of Napa! I have family and friends that are struggling with the devastation that is consuming the Napa Valley. Please pray for the winds to die down, for the smoke to clear and the fires to stop. The air is heavy with smoke and hard to breath. Friends are not sleeping for fear of needing to evacuate in the middle of the night. Praying for safety and peace for you all. xoxo

Woke up to snow this morning! So crazy – temps were in the 70’s yesterday!

Congratulations to Sarah & Justin Quinn as they welcomed their 2nd beautiful daughter early this morning! Little Miss Ridley Maive was born at 3:34 am. this morning and weighed in at 7.1 lbs & 19.75 inches. Can’t wait to meet this little angel girl! Sarah is Amie’s best friend since middle school and like a second daughter! Love you guys!

Here is another fence picket scraps project. I laid down 5 fence picket scraps and drew a pumpkin on them. I used my jigsaw to cut the shapes out, one picket at a time and then I numbered the backs. Clamping the boards down was helpful in the cutting process. It was hard to hold them and cut them at the same time.

Then I took my orbital sander with the heavy grit pad (I don’t remember the number grit) and sanded all the rough edges.

Then I bought some orange and green outdoor acrylic paint at Joanne’s (the kind with the flip tops). I squirted some into a cup and added water, then applied with a sponge brush. I still have some exterior deck stain so I lightly rubbed all the edges and a bit over the orange and green. It drys pretty quickly.

I then used wood glue and my nail gun to attach strips to the back to hold them together and to the bottom scrap for a stand.

Voila!! How stickin’ cute is that!!
