Hope you all had a great Easter weekend with family & friends!! I have a new app on my ipad called “Snapseed” and it’s FREE. It is super easy to use and will adjust your photos with different applications. I just love it!!! I took this pic of my Tablescape on Saturday and tweaked it. Love the look of it . . .

Good Read . . .
I’ve been following Ree Drummond now for about a year (not literally – LOL). She is better known as “The Pioneer Woman”. She has a blog and a cooking show on the Food Network (called the same). She lives on a ranch in Northwest Oklahoma and is just a hoot. I have one of her cookbooks and recently found out that she wrote this book “Black Heels to Tractor Wheels” so I downloaded it onto my Ipad. Haven’t finished it yet but am enjoying every chapter. If you’re looking for a fun, easy, no-brainer read . . Ree is hilarious and begins the book about how she met her “Marlboro Man”. She brings a great sense of humor to her stories and life experiences. Love her! Great book!
Did you know?
Did you know that you can find these adorable vintage look colanders at World Market for only $1.99~ they are metal and come in these 3 colors plus yellow & orange. So cute!! I used them for Amie’s college grad party. Now I use them in the fridge to store lemons/limes. Here’s the link . . . http://www.worldmarket.com/product/mini-colanders
P.S. It cracks me up that if you say “vintage” it’s IN . . . if you say “old fashion” it’s OUT . . . well vintage works for me (it does sound way better, so more chic) LOL!
Did U Know?
. . . what a “Heifer Bull” is vs. a “Bull”?? Me neither . . . I just thought a bull was a bull. A “Heifer Bull” is a younger bull that is categorized as a bull that will produce a smaller calf (low birth-weight bulls). So when the “Heifers” (females that haven’t yet had a calf) are bred with a “Heifer Bull”, it’s much easier on the Heifers when their first calf is of smaller birth-weight. This is “Big G” . . . . . NOT a “Heifer Bull”.
Cattle 101 – Did U Know . . .
. . . that a “Heifer” is a cow (female) that hasn’t had a calf yet.
. . . that a “Cow” is a female fully grown that has had calves.
. . . that a “Bull” is a male that is not castrated and will “assist” the heifers in producing calves.
. . . that a “Steer” is a male that HAS been castrated and will NOT be “assisting” any heifers.
