It’s true . . . this little drink will bring a smile to your face. I was just laughing at myself . . . I’m going through my day, good or not so good and then I remember . . . I have Iced Coffee in the fridge!! You must try it. Mixed with a little sugar, a little milk, a little 1/2 & 1/2 and you will be grinning from ear to ear. I found the recipe on Ree Drummond’s website . . www.thepioneerwoman.com. I made a smaller batch, 1 & 1/4 cup of your favorite coffee grounds to 2 quarts water. You will not regret it!! Enjoy!!

Did U Know?
. . . what a “Heifer Bull” is vs. a “Bull”?? Me neither . . . I just thought a bull was a bull. A “Heifer Bull” is a younger bull that is categorized as a bull that will produce a smaller calf (low birth-weight bulls). So when the “Heifers” (females that haven’t yet had a calf) are bred with a “Heifer Bull”, it’s much easier on the Heifers when their first calf is of smaller birth-weight. This is “Big G” . . . . . NOT a “Heifer Bull”.
Cowgirl Punch with a Kick!
Amie found this recipe on Pinterest for the “cocktail” on the right. It’s 1 frozen concentrate Rasberry Lemonade, 4 beers (your choice), and 1/2 c. Vodka. We added sliced lemons and a bag of frozen rasberries. One portion makes almost 2 qts. YUMMMMMMYY!!! Great summertime cocktail . . .
I used pint size mason jars for our drink cups (purchased at Walmart), tied raffia around the lip of the jars and added paper straws (straws bought at Sur La Table). The paper straws really finished the look. You can purchase them online and they come in a variety of great colors.
Amie’s College Graduation
What a great time this weekend. Family in from out of town & friends over for the graduation party. We all had a great time. So proud of her! Here are a few pics . . .

Keith Urban Concert 2011
Pat is my “country western” friend & co-worker. We love country music, favorite: Blake Shelton but Chris Young toooo. This pic is from the Keith Urban Concert. He is an excellent entertainer, very audience aware. We also saw Rascal Flatts last summer. Both were great concerts!!
My Son
Jason is 27 years old, loves golf and is engaged to Tara (I’m hoping for a wedding next summer). Tara has Owen and he just turned 4. Jason & Tara met a couple of years ago through some friends. They recently purchased a home together and have done an excellent job decorating it! Their home is much bigger than mine, hence all parties happen there. Jason has made a very nice life for himself. I am very proud of the strides he has made in his life. Tara & Owen have been a great influence on him and a great addition to our family!
My Daughter
Amie is 23 years old and graduating from college this weekend! PARTY! (pictures coming) She is the only one in our family that has accomplished this and I couldn’t be more proud. She has worked very hard and will graduate with her Degree in Business & Entrepreneurship annnnnd she has been blessed with a full-time job!!
You go girl! xoxo
